Three injured in two-vehicle wreck July 2
Three people are reported to have been injured in a two-vehicle wreck July 2 on Highway 13 north of Southeast 230th Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2000 Ford Explorer, driven by Dawson D. Thompson, 19, of Warrensburg, turned left in front of a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Jarone E. Terry, 18, of Warrensburg, and the Jeep hit the Ford. The Jeep traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. The Ford came to rest blocking the northbound lane.
Jeep occupant Allison R. Adlich, 18, of Warrensburg, Terry and Thompson are each reported to have minor injuries.
Adlich and Terry were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center.
Thompson refused treatment on scene.
Adlich, Terry and Thompson are each reported to have worn a safety device.
The Jeep and Ford are both reported to be a total loss.
Minor injuries reported in July 4 wreck
One person is reported to have minor injuries from a single-vehicle wreck July 4 on Highway 2 at Route O.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2014 Harley-Davidson, driven by Joseph M. Rodriguez, 34, of Butler, ran off the left side of the roadway, overturned and ejected the driver.
Rodriguez is reported to have minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
Rodriguez is reported to have not worn a safety device.
The Harley-Davidson is reported to have extensive damage.
