Moderate injuries were reported in a single-vehicle wreck on July 14 on Highway 2.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a westbound 2015 Chevrolet Impala driven by a 17-year-old male from Urich traveled off the left side of the road and struck a fence and a tree.
The juvenile is reported to have moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.
Moderate injuries were reported in a single-vehicle wreck on July 15 on Northwest 1771st Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a northbound 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Gabriel A. Tovar, 20, of Blue Springs, traveled off the left side of the road, struck a fence and overturned.
Tovar and a passenger, 19-year-old Anthony P. Dempsey, 19, of Lee’s Summit, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District. A second passenger, 22-year-old Tyler A. Tovar, of Blue Springs, is reported to have moderate injuries and was transported to WMMC by JCAD.
