Minor injuries reported in July 6 wreck

One person is reported to have minor injuries after a double-vehicle wreck on July 6 on state Business Route 13 at Northwest 375th Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the wreck occurred when a 2003 Chrysler Concorde, driven by Brody Willis, 21, of Excelsior Springs, began making a left-hand turn and was struck by a 2014 Dodge Dart, driven by Melinda Ridge, 32, of Warrensburg.

Both Ridge and Willis are reported to have worn a safety device. 

The Chrysler is reported to have moderate damage. The Dodge is reported to have extensive damage. 

Moderate injuries reported in July 10 wreck

One person is reported to have moderate injuries after a single-vehicle wreck on July 10 on westbound U.S. Highway 50 at Northwest 821 Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the wreck occurred when a 2014 Volkswagen, driven by Daide Agnew, 28, of Warrensburg, left the roadway, went airborne and overturned. 

Agnew was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District following the wreck.

Agnew is reported to have worn a safety device.

The Volkswagen is reported to be a total loss.

Minor injuries reported in June 10 wreck

Four people are reported to have minor injuries after a two-vehicle wreck on July 10 U.S. Highway 50 east of Northwest 331st Road. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the wreck occurred when a 2002 Pontiac, driven by Connor Owens, 24, of Blue Springs, began to have a mechanical issue, traveled off of the left side of the roadway into the median and struck a road sign. The Pontiac then traveled onto the eastbound lane, overturned and struck a 2021 Toyota, driven by Sarah Lovell, 29, of Lone Jack.

All persons refused medical treatment at the scene.

All persons are reported to have worn a safety device.

The Pontiac is reported to be a total loss. The Toyota is reported to have extensive damage.

The MSHP was assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
