Julie M. Huston, 44, of Holden, was killed at 11:34 a.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Huston was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe east on state Route 2 when she traveled off the right side of the roadway. Her vehicle struck a ditch, overturned, and struck trees.
Huston was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bryan S. Phillips, 41, of Holden, sustained serious injuries, and Tyler M. Jennings, 36, of Holden, sustained minor injuries at 5:44 a.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Phillips was driving a 1998 Mazda B series west on U.S. Highway 50 when he slid into the median due to an ice-covered roadway and the vehicle overturned.
Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt. Jennings was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. Phillips was transported by JCAD to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
