Casdy L. Bass Benson, 26, and Timothy D. Robinette, 38, both of Independence, suffered minor injuries at 9:10 a.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Robinette was in a 2020 Dodge Ram that was stranded in the northbound lane of Highway W when Benson crested a hill in a 2018 International and struck Robinette’s vehicle.
Robinette was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by personal vehicle. Benson refused treatment at the scene.
