Two suffer minor injuries in collision 

A 41-year-old male from Lee’s Summit and a 68-year-old woman from WIlliamsburg, Kansas, were injured in a Johnson County accident at 3:05 p.m. Friday, April 18. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by the female attempted to turn north onto Route Z from U.S. 50 Highway and failed to yield to a 2021 Ram 1500 driven by the male, leading to a collision. 

The male had minor injuries, and refused transport. The female had minor injuries, and was transported by private vehicle to an unknown hospital. 

Both were wearing a seatbelt. 

One hurt after going into ditch 

A 27-year-old male from Sedalia was injured in a Johnson County accident at 8:42 p.m. Friday, April 18. 

According to the MIssouri State Highway Patrol, the male was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion eastbound on U.S. 50 east of Route D when he traveled off the north side of the roadway before going into a ditch, crossing over a crossover and returning to a roadway. 

The male, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

Three hurt in Business 13 accident 

A female listed with an unknown age from Warrensburg suffered serious injuries, a 37-year-old woman from Warrensburg suffered moderate injuries and a 25-year-old male suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 5:32 p.m. Saturday, April 19. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2021 Toyota Camry driven by the male was passing multiple cars on a hill going Northbound at 408 Business 13. 

A 2001 Ram 1500 driven by the 37-year-old female swerved to miss the Camry, which also swerved leading to a collision. 

The 37-year-old female was not wearing a seatbelt. 

The 25-year-old male was wearing a seatbelt. 

An unknown female occupant of the Ram 1500 was wearing a seatbelt. 

All three were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District. 

Three people injured after overturning

Three Centerview residents were injured after their vehicle overturned at 11:53 a.m. Sunday, April 20, in Johnson County. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2006 Dodge Durango driven by a 25-year-old male was traveling south on Route UU at County RD NW 400  when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. 

A 27-year-old female passenger was not wearing a seatbelt, and was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District  to Western Missouri Medical Center. 

A 7-year-old male, who was wearing a seatbelt was transported with minor injuries. 

The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, had minor injuries but refused treatment.
