Moderate injuries, arrest reported in Feb. 11 wreck
One person is reported to have moderate injuries after a single-vehicle wreck Feb. 11 in the 700 block of Southwest 800th Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2013 Ford, driven by Wilder R. Bruns, 18, of Holden, traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Bruns is reported to have moderate injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District.
Bruns was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.
Bruns is reported to have not worn a safety device.
The Ford is reported to be a total loss.
Serious injuries, arrest reported in Feb. 13 wreck
One person is reported to have serious injuries after a single-vehicle wreck Feb. 13 on Highway WW south of Southeast 950 Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred when a 2010 Chevrolet traveled off the roadway and the driver, Christopher D. Simmons, 31, of Warrensburg, overcorrected. The vehicle crossed over the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Simmons is reported to have serious injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District.
Simmons is reported to have not worn a safety device.
Simmons was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, seat belt, and failure to drive on right side of roadway.
The Chevrolet is reported to be a total loss.
