Boys & Girls Club and Tyson to host truckload sale

Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri and Tyson are hoping area residents are ready to stock their freezers, as they host a truckload sale on Friday, July 23. The Tyson truck will be parked from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Thompson Hills Shopping Center parking lot with 20-pound boxes of various chicken products available for sale.

“We’re so thankful to Tyson for their generosity and investment in our kids with this sale,” said Executive Director Gary Beckman. “They’ve been a longtime partner of our organization and have always answered the call to help.”  

All proceeds from the truckload sale will benefit Boys & Girls Club, which is seeing record enrollment at its Summer Program and gearing up for a busy school year. 

Products available include boneless skinless breast fillets, fully cooked buffalo hot wings, fully cooked chicken cheese crispitos, fully cooked breaded breast fillets, fully cooked grilled breast fillets, fully cooked breaded breast strips, fully cooked barbeque breast strips, fully cooked popcorn chicken, fully cooked chicken nuggets, raw wings, fully cooked diced grilled chicken breast, and ready to cook breaded tenders. All products will be sold in 20-pound boxes for $35 each, expect the boneless skinless chicken which is $40 each. Cash or debit/credit cards will be accepted; no checks please.
