JOHNSON COUNTY — Another year of fierce but friendly competition has come to a close and winners for the 2022 Best of the ‘Burg have been announced.
Those deemed Best of the ‘Burg or a Star Business joined members of the Warrensburg Star-Journal on Thursday, July 28, at PLAYERS Restaurant for hors d'oeuvres, conversation and to collect their certificates.
The annual contest allows community members in Johnson County to vote for their favorite businesses in more than 100 categories and winners are awarded the distinction as the Best of the Burg in their category for the next year. Second and third place are awarded as a Star-Business.
A special section with a full list of winners is included in the Friday, July 29 edition of the Warrensburg StarJournal. It will also run in the Aug. 3 and Aug. 6 editions of the Warrensburg Star-Advertiser
