The Warrensburg Ministerial Ministerial Association has extended the application deadline for The Beloved Community Scholarship until April 30.
Established in 2011, the $500 scholarship is given to a graduating high school student from Warrensburg (alternative and homeschool included) who will be attending the University of Central Missouri, exists to encourage students in contributing to the greater good of all — as Dr. Martin Luther King articulated it — through their vocation in life.
Those wanting to apply can access the application from the Warrensburg High School website or from a WHS counselor.
Other than responding to the application questions, applicants will also be contacted for a follow-up interview.
Those wanting to donate to the scholarship fund may send a check to the Warrensburg Ministerial Association at P.O. Box 343.
