Art displayed through December in the Warrensburg Community Center

Posted

WARRENSBURG — Two members of Mid-Missouri Artists, Sande Cromer and Anne Hassell, have filled the art display area in the Warrensburg Community Center, 445 E. Gay St., with some of their beautiful art and photography.

The works are displayed in the hall to the left of the front desk and will be on view through December.

Anyone wishing to purchase an item in the display may contact the individual artist.

The display may be viewed during hours when the Community Center is open.

Cromer said she tries to keep her camera with her at all times and credits Mid-Missouri Artists with encouraging her to continue to spread her wings and try her skills at other forms of art.

Her works on display include several shadow-box creations, one of her specialties.

Hassell, born in London, but calling Warrensburg home for the past 20 years, studied various forms of art at State Fair Community College and the University of Central Missouri.

Her specialty is mixed media.
