Applications are being accepted by the Mu Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma International for the Dorothea Renno-Nadler Memorial Grant.
Applicants should be female students, college sophomore level or above and pursuing a degree in education at any Missouri institution of higher education.
Dorothea Renno-Nadler was a business education/vocational instructor in the Lafayette County C-1 school district in Higginsville. She was a member of the Mu Chapter and a dedicated teacher who made valuable contributions to her school and community.
The Delta Kappa Gamma International is a women’s educational society. It promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Membership for the Mu Chapter is drawn from the cities and educational districts of Centerview, Clinton, Higginsville, Holden, Kingsville, Leeton, Lexington, Odessa, Warrensburg, Wellington, and Napoleon.
Applicants meeting the qualifications and residing in the above residential areas are eligible to apply for the $500 grant. Applications are due by April 2. For more information, contact Jan Thompson at 660-238-4111.
