BOARD CANDIDACY NOTICE
The Warrensburg School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 2, 2024, election. There are two positions available with three-year terms. Interested persons may file at the Warrensburg R-VI District Office located at 201 S. Holden, Warrensburg, MO, with Jodi Norman, Secretary to the Board. Filing officially begins on December 5, 2023, at 8:00 A.M. and ends on December 26, 2023, at 5:00 P.M. Filings will be accepted during the following times:
December 5 through December 20: Normal office hours of 8:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M. (Monday-Friday)
December 21: 8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
December 26: 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Please note that due to the winter break, filings will not be accepted beginning at noon on December 21, 2023, through December 25, 2023. Filings will resume at 1 P.M. on December 26, 2023. Except for the first and last day of filing, filings will not be accepted when the school district's central office is closed due to inclement weather or other health-related reasons. If weather conditions make it unsafe for staff to travel, the district may not accept filings on the first and last day of filing. Candidates may obtain in advance from the district office the official candidate filing packet of forms and instructions. Done by order of the Board of Education, this the 14th day of November 2023.
