The Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) Auxiliary hosted its 17th Annual Ice Cream Social on Aug. 2 at the WMMC Courtyard Café. The annual event brings community members together for an afternoon of ice cream, desserts and fellowship while raising funds to support future healthcare professionals.
More than 320 tickets were sold for this year’s event, which included ice cream with toppings, dessert, and bottled water. The event was held in memory of Cody Droege, a valued WMMC Auxiliary volunteer whose dedication and kindness made a lasting impact on the organization and community.
Proceeds from the Ice Cream Social will benefit the WMMC Auxiliary Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to students pursuing careers in healthcare.
The WMMC Auxiliary thanks everyone who attended, volunteered and supported this year’s event and helped make it a success.
