A Warrensburg man was struck and killed by an SUV near Waynesville in Pulaski County on Monday, May 4.
Logan Miller, a 35-year-old union operator, was flagging traffic around 2:30 p.m. on Spruce Road, an outer road along I-44 when an 88-year-old driver hit him. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop I, the driver did not see Miller when the accident occurred. The driver left the scene unharmed.
While the construction zone is a Missouri Department of Transportation project, family members said Miller was not a MoDOT employee and was instead a contracted Heavy Equipment Operator with the Local 101 Union hired to work for the department.
Miller is survived by his wife, Claire Miller. A community Meal Train to support the family can be found here: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/y0r56k.
