Michael A. Brown, 53, was arrested Feb. 23 in the area of Southeast 190 Road and South Maguire Street for no proof of insurance, a warrant and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle after officers conducted a vehicle stop in the 1300 block of South Maguire Street for a suspected warrant. The vehicle failed to yield and came to a stop near Southeast 190 Road. Officers made contact with the male driver, who was arrested, transported to the Johnson County Jail and placed in lieu of bond.
James A. Whitlow, 58, was arrested Feb. 23 in the 1000 block of South Maguire Street for possession of a controlled substance after officers stopped a vehicle for expired registration and exceeding the posted speed limit. Officers were granted consent to search the vehicle, where they discovered narcotics. Officers arrested the driver and transported him to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released pending state charges.
Alen B. Troyer, 68, was arrested Feb. 24 in the area of Maguire Street and U.S. Highway 50 for obstruction - resisting arrest after officers conducted a vehicle stop on a vehicle for careless and imprudent driving. During the stop, the male exited the vehicle and disobeyed the officer's command. He was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons.
JM J. Christensen, 58, was arrested Feb. 25 in the 400 block of East North Street for stealing after officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Young Street in reference to a theft. A reporting party stated that her coin purse, containing $100, had been stolen by a male. After reviewing camera footage, officers identified and arrested the male, who was booked and released on the scene with a city citation.
Warren A. Downs, 37, was arrested Feb. 24 in the 200 block of East Gay Street for speeding, no proof of insurance and driving while suspended after an officer stopped a vehicle for exceeding the posted speed limit. Officers discovered the male was driving while suspended and was arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons for driving while suspended, no insurance and speeding.
Douglas D. Sherwood, 33, was arrested Feb. 27 in the 200 block of East Gay Street for obstruction and drugs/paraphernalia possession after officers were dispatched to a disturbance at the Warrensburg Post Office. Officers made contact with a male who was discovered to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons for drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
Danielle J. Schwager, 41, was arrested Feb. 27 in the 100 block of East North Street for simple domestic assault after officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in progress. Officers made contact with a female who stated a known female subject had assaulted her and was refusing to leave the property. Officers made contact with the subject, who was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Douglas Sherwood, 33, was arrested Feb. 28 in the 400 block of North Maguire Street for trespassing after officers were dispatched to a business in reference to trespassing. The business reported that a known male subject, who had previously been trespassed, was located on the property. Officers made contact with the male, who was confirmed to have an active trespass notice. He was arrested, booked and released on the scene.
Douglas Sherwood, 33, was arrested March 1 in the 300 block of North Maguire Street for stealing after officers were dispatched in reference to a disturbance. A business reported a known male had shoplifted and was refusing to leave the property. Officers made contact with the male, where he was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons and a trespass notice from the business.

Upon arrival, the reporting party stated a known female who had previously been trespassed was located on the property. Officers made contact with the female, where they confirmed the trespass to be active. She was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons for driving while intoxicated.
Cesar A. Aguilera, 27, was arrested March 1 in the 300 block of East North Street for driving while intoxicated after officers were dispatched in reference to trespassing. Officers made contact with a female, who reported a known male was refusing to leave the property. Officers located the male in a vehicle, where he was determined to be intoxicated while operating a motor vehicle. He was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a signed city summons.
