Warrensburg area police reports for June 16

Derrick W. Roar, 45, was arrested May 18 in the 100 block of South Holden Street for an order of protection violation and third-degree assault after officers were dispatched to the 500 block of West Gay Street in reference to an assault. A reporting party stated a known male violated a protection order by contacting her and punched her in the face. After further investigation, officers located and arrested the male. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail after failing to comply with booking procedures.

Danielle J. Schwager, 42, was arrested May 18 for domestic assault in the 100 block of North Holden Street after officers were dispatched in reference to a disturbance. A reporting party stated a known female subject had thrown a sharp piece of a broken bowl at her and also the property outside. Officers arrested the female. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with a city summons.

Derrick W. Roar, 45, was arrested May 18 for trespassing in the 600 block of Spring Ridge Road in reference to trespassing. Officers located a known male subject who had previously been trespassed from the property. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department for booking. Once booking was completed, he was transferred to the Johnson County Jail in reference to a separate case.

Rudolf Barajas, 21, was arrested May 19 for stealing in the 300 block of North Maguire Street after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. A business reported that a known subject had stolen multiple items before leaving the store. The male was later located and arrested for shoplifting. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Elleigh M. Shaw, 20, was arrested May 20 for domestic assault in the 100 block of Grant Street after officers were dispatched to an assault in progress. Officers made contact with a male and female subject, who were in a verbal altercation. After further investigation, the female was arrested for simple domestic assault.  She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.

Aiden L. Smith-Jaremko, 18,  and Chloe M. Eads, 18, were arrested May 23 for stealing in the  300 block of Hawthorne Boulevard after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Cooper Boulevard May 22 in reference to theft. Asset protection reported that on May 21, a male and female passed all points of sale without rendering payment for their items. After reviewing footage, officers identified both subjects and arrested them May 23. They were transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with city summonses.

Robert S. Miller, 60, was arrested May 23 in the 400 block of Burkarth Road while  Stacy K. Thomas, 49, was arrested May 23 in the 200 block of East Cleveland Street after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard on May 22 in reference to past theft. Asset protection reported that on May 22, a male and female subject were observed shoplifting approximately $79.94 worth of merchandise. Officers identified and later located both subjects. They were transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with city summonses.

Will A. Malmberg, 21, was arrested May 23 in the 700 block of Brookside Drive for soliciting without a city license after officers were patrolling and observed a male subject going door to door soliciting for an internet company.  Officers made contact with the male, where it was discovered he did not have a city business license. He was issued a city summons on scene for the violation.

Nathaniel R. Kimberling, 45, was arrested May 23 in the 100 block of Water Street for driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest after officers were dispatched in reference to a disturbance. Officers made contact with a male subject who was found to have been operating an orange Nissan Rogue under suspicion of DWI.  Officers requested the male exit the vehicle, and he refused to do so using physical force. He was later arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released.

Darwin H. Davis, 25, was arrested May 24 in the 100 block of South College Street for driving while intoxicated after officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Nissan Sentra for driving without headlights at night and failure to drive in a single lane. Officers discovered the male driver was driving while intoxicated and arrested him. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released with signed city summonses.

Danny J. Cox, 41, was arrested May 24 in the area of North Holden Street and Cooper Boulevard for soliciting without a business license after officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Cleveland Street in reference to a possible attempted burglary. Officers located the male, who was later determined to be soliciting in the area without a license. He was issued a city summons on scene for the violation.
