Elisha Stone, 23, was arrested March 16 near the intersection of North College Street and Vamo Road for driving while suspended, failure to provide proof of insurance and improper registration after officers conducted a stop for displaying plates for another vehicle. Officers discovered the male driver was driving while suspended. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Jimmy E. Bunker, 47, was arrested March 17 near the intersection of South Maguire Street and Railroad Street for taillights - license plate light required, failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to display plates, displayed or possessed plates of another person and unlawful possession, transport, manufacture, repair or sale of an illegal weapon after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle without tags or working break lights. Officers made contact with the male driver, who was discovered to be in possession of an illegal weapon. He was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released pending state charges.
Cheyenne Blankenship, 30, was arrested March 18 in the 400 block of Russel Avenue for harassment by means other than phone, property damage and leaving the scene of an accident after officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Jackson Street for a past-occurred crash. Reporting parties stated a known female struck their vehicle before fleeing the scene. Officers located the suspect shortly after. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Michael Pittman Jr., 37, was arrested March 18 in the 500 block of Burkarth Road for driving while revoked after officers stopped a vehicle for having no license plates. The male driver was determined to be driving while revoked. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Joseph D. Sivils Jr., 19, was arrested March 18 in the 300 block of North Maguire Street for noise restrictions after he drove by and yelled at officers conducting a traffic stop. After the traffic stop was complete, the male parked next to the officers and began making “a copious amount of noise.” Due to noise complaints, he was issued a citation for peace disturbance.
Mindy L. Cox, 45, was arrested March 20 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for shoplifting after officers were dispatched in reference to a theft. Asset protection informed officers that a known female passed all points of sale without rendering payment. The female was arrested for shoplifting. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Douglas D. Sherwood, 33, was arrested March 20 in the 300 block of North Maguire Street for trespassing and resisting arrest after officers were dispatched for trespassing. A business reported a known male who had previously been trespassed was on the property. Officers made contact, where he was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Kyle J. Henderson, 26, was arrested March 21 in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard for trespassing after officers were dispatched in reference to trespassing. Asset protection reported that a male who had previously been trespassed was on the property. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed the notice was active. He was arrested and released on the scene.
Jakeb N. Snyder, 22, was arrested March 22 in the 100 block of North Holden Street for property damage after officers patrolling in the 200 block of South Washington Street observed a male pull a city sign out of the ground and throw it. Officers made contact with the male, and he was arrested for property damage. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Jackson S. Gabbert, 20, was arrested March 22 in the 300 block of East Cooper Street for stealing after officers were dispatched in reference to theft. Asset protection informed officers that a male had passed all points of sale without rendering payment. After reviewing video footage, the male was arrested, transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
Oscar Avila Mercado, 33, was arrested March 22 in the 500 block of North Washington Street for driving without a valid license after officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the area of North Street and Washington Street. Officers made contact with both male drivers. One was cited for failure to keep right, while the other was arrested for no valid license. The arrested male was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked and released.
