Leeton motorcyclist injured avoiding animal in roadway
A Leeton man, 43, suffered moderate injuries at 5:21 a.m., Thursday, June 4, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson west on Missouri Route 2 near Missouri Route 13 when he attempted to avoid an animal, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
He was not wearing a helmet, and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
