Motorcyclist injured in Johnson County deer strike

A Peculiar man, 52, suffered moderate injuries at 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 24, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2007 Harley Davidson west on Missouri Route 2 when he struck a deer in the roadway. 

He was wearing a helmet, and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District.

Holden woman seriously injured in Johnson County collision

A Holden woman, 50, suffered serious injuries at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was an occupant in a 1999 Ford F-250 driven by a Holden man, 47, east on SW 75 Road. A 2016 Kia Soul driven east by a Holden man, 17, attempted a U-turn and was struck by the Ford. 

The injured woman was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Holden teen transported after Johnson County motorcycle spill

A Holden man, 19, suffered minor injuries at 4:20 a.m. Sunday, April 26, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2021 Kawasaki Ninja south on Missouri Route 131 when he struck an object in the roadway and overturned.

He was wearing a helmet, and was transported to Research Hospital by ambulance.
