Deante J. Loftis, 29, was arrested June 30 for second-degree domestic assault in the 700 block of Cedar Drive. Officers were dispatched to the area, where a female subject reported that a known male subject had hit her in the head and strangled her before fleeing on foot. The male subject was later located and arrested. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold.
Jamil K. Hanson, 41, was arrested on July 1 for property damage and shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. The business said he passed all points of sale without paying. A male subject on scene also reported that his vehicle was struck in the parking lot by the male suspect. The male subject was later identified and arrested. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released pending state charges.
Scott M. Large, 55, was arrested on July 1 for driving without a valid license after officers stopped his vehicle for driving through a red light. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.
Justin B. Kidd, 47, was arrested on July 2 for driving with a suspended motorcycle license. status. Kourtni K. Mabry, 25, was arrested on July 4 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of North Maguire Street. The business told officers that a known male subject stole two slices of pizza and fled. Officers later located the male subject and placed him under arrest for shoplifting. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.
Russell L. Young, 53, was arrested on July 4 for property damage in the 200 block of South Mitchell Street after an individual said Young broke their car window. Officers made contact with the male subject, who admitted to doing so. An individual reported that a known male subject had a firearm and was threatening to kill their dog with it. Officers located the male subject and placed him under arrest. Darnell R. Gregory, 45, was arrested on July 6 for obstruction and domestic assault in the 900 block of Deer Run. The reporting party advised that a male subject was beating a female subject outside. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject who refused to leave the apartment. After some time, the male subject came outside and resisted the officer's commands. He was subsequently placed under arrest for obstruction and domestic assault. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a signed city summons.
