Georgina J. Osorio, 32, was arrested on June 16 for driving while suspended. Officers conducted a traffic stop on her vehicle in the 500 block of North Maguire Street for her expired plates. She was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released on charges of expired plates, no insurance and driving while suspended.
Ethan J. Carpenter, 23, was arrested on June 17 for felon in possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 400 block of North Maguire Street for failing to yield. Officers approached the vehicle and determined that both the driver and passenger were convicted felons. A search was subsequently conducted on the vehicle, where a firearm was found. Officers placed the male driver under arrest for felon in possession of a firearm. Upon further investigation, a stolen license plate from the Henry County Sheriff's Office was located on the trailer. The male driver was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released pending state charges.
Melissa M. Martinez, 40, was arrested on June 19 for assault in the 600 block of West Clark Street. Officers were dispatched to the area in regards to a disturbance. It was determined that a known female subject had threatened property staff and became violent. She was arrested, booked and released back to her home. The report was sent to the municipal prosecutor for review, who later declined to file charges.
Anthony Johnson, 60, was arrested on June 19 for driving while suspended. Officers observed a male subject known to have a suspended driving status operating a vehicle in the 700 block of South Maguire Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, confirmed the suspended status and placed him under arrest. The male subject was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with a citation for driving while suspended.
Jimmy J. Hoover, 57, and James K. Knowles, 59, were arrested on June 19 for felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to yield in the 1100 block of North Maguire Street. When officers approached the vehicle, they observed a firearm in the center console. For officer safety, they removed the firearm from the vehicle and asked if any other weapons were in the truck which both occupants replied no. A criminal history check was completed on both parties, and it was determined that both subjects were convicted felons. The two male subjects were subsequently arrested for felon in possession of a firearm. During an incident to arrest search on the vehicle, officers located approximately 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a bag of ammunition. The two male subjects were transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where they were both booked and released pending state charges.
Marie Rose, 42, was arrested on June 20 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released with a signed city summons.
Elizabeth O. Wilson, 23, was arrested on June 21 for shoplifting from a business in the 300 block of East Cooper Boulevard. The business detained the female subject, who shoplifted $49.33 worth of merchandise. The female subject was arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where she was booked and released with a signed city summons.
Michael L. Gregory, 45, was arrested on June 22 for domestic assault that occurred on June 21. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released with citations for assault and kidnapping.
