Area persons interested in art and/or photography are invited to come to the Thursday, Sept. 24, meeting of Mid-Missouri Artists (MMA) at 6:30 p.m. in the Arts and Crafts Room of the Warrensburg Community Center, 445 E. Gay Street. The evening is titled “Connect, Create, and Catch Up!” MMA was created to serve artists in Johnson, Pettis, Lafayette, and Henry counties.
People are invited to come to share, listen, or just gather fresh inspiration. Members will be installing new work on the Center’s hanging system. People can bring work in progress for discussion or suggestions. Those with questions about an artistic challenge or technical problem can get feedback. People are also asked to share information about a favorite technique, tool, or medium—perhaps something new recently tried. Suggestions are encouraged for possible programs, events, or projects for the months ahead. Visitors are welcome! All MMA meetings are free and open to the public.
