A 71-year-old male pedestrian from Warrensburg suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle at 10:13 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was along U.S. Highway 50 west of NW 550 Road when he was struck by a 2008 Infiniti G37 driven by a 17-year-old female from Kingsville.
She was wearing a seat belt. The pedestrian was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
A 62-year-old male from Lee’s Summit suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash at 1:50 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, he was driving a 2000 Harley Davidson Road King eastbound on U.S. Highway 50 at Missouri Route 131 when a tire went flat. He then attempted to turn into 131 and the rear tire slid out from under him.
The man, who was wearing a helmet, sought private treatment.
A 39-year-old male from Kansas City suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident at 7:55 a.m Monday, Sept. 22, in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the male was driving a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan eastbound on Route DD at SE 451st RD when he turned into the path of a 2014 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 36-year-old female from Warrensburg. After impact, the caravan also struck a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse driven by a 35-year-old female from Warrensburg.
All parties were wearing their seat belts.
The male refused treatment at the scene.
