Warrensburg motorcyclist injured in Johnson County mishap

A Warrensburg man, 30, suffered moderate injuries at 7:48 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was riding a 2024 Honda CB 650r south on Missouri Business 13 south of NW 435 Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and was ejected.

He was wearing a helmet and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Three Warrensburg teens hurt in Johnson County accident

A Warrensburg girl, 16, suffered minor injuries, a Warrensburg girl, 16, suffered minor injuries and a Warrensburg girl, 17, suffered minor injuries at 10:05 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 16-year-old was driving a 2020 Hyundai Elantra east on SE 140 Road, east of Business 13, when she traveled into the path of a 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser driven west by a Cheyenne, Wyoming woman, 57, and struck her vehicle head on.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt, except for the 17-year-old who was exempt. The injured were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
