A 62-year-old female from Clinton suffered minor injuries in a Johnson County accident at 5:13 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 24-year-old male from Kansas City was driving a Chevrolet Colorado southbound on Missouri Highway 13 at 260 Road when he slowed to turn into a private drive and struck the rear fo a Ford Focus driven by a 75-year-old man from Clinton.
The female was a passenger in the Focus. She was a treated at the scene by EMS.
The driver of the Colorado was not wearing a seat belt. Both parties in the Focus were.
A 33-year-old male from Knob Noster suffered minor injuries in a Johnson County accident at 5:13 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 2027 Atrilia Motorcycle southbound on NW 1601st Road when he struck a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox driven westbound on U.S. Highway 50 by a 72-year-old from Lee’s Summit.
The male, who was wearing a helmet, was transported by private vehicle to 509 Medical Group. The female was wearing a seat belt and had no reported injuries.
A 41-year-old male from Binghampton, New York suffered moderate injuries in a single vehicle accident at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, he was driving a 2024 Kia Forte eastbound on U.S. Highway 50 east of NW 821st RD when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
The man, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
A 35-year-old pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle at 4:59 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in a Warrensburg accident.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was crossing the road when he was struck by a 2016 Ford Fusion driven by a 40-year-old from Warrensburg.
The man was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.
A 47-year-old male from Knob Noster suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 12:16 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 46-year-old Knob Noster man was driving a 2021 Toyota Tundra southbound on FF Highway south of NE 310 RD when he lost control, traveled off the roadway, struck the ditch, returned to the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the roadway again and came to a rest in the ditch.
The 47-year-old passenger, who as not wearing a seat belt, was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.
The 46-year-old driver was reported as wearing a seat belt.
